Abode's First 25 Years - Part One of the Journey

"In the beginning, it was a very simple, shelter-focused, crisis-oriented organization that was reacting to a problem," Executive Director Louis Chicoine said. "But we were initially successful because people were ready and willing to find and support a different way."

A Week of Awareness

Educate. Advocate. Let's End Homelessness!

We’re proud to be part of the National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week!  We're planning several activities throughout the week including a "Feed Your Soul" performance night at Mission Coffee on Thursday, November 20th, at 7 p.m. and a candlelight vigil at St. James' Episcopal Church on Friday, November 21st, at 7 p.m.

Get Into the Holiday Spirit of Giving

Too many members of our community are still without housing, and have little to look forward to this holiday season. They need your generosity.

Your donation will create a joyful holiday for a child or adult in our programs who would otherwise not be able to celebrate the season.
